Intense strength training workouts for large muscle groups like those in the legs and chest can provide layered benefits. This is especially true if these workouts contain chest exercises. Since these large muscle movements can quickly elevate the heart rate into the fat burning zone and keep it there for an extended period of time.
For this exercise you will need the Kinetic Bands duo and the Kinetic Powerbands.
Execution
Atach the Kinetic Bands duo to an overhead anchor point. Adjust the straps so they hang just above the floor. Place your feet inside these straps, place your palms on the floor so they support your bodyweight. This exercise is done like a classical push up. Do as many push ups as you can. Your back and legs need to be straight. When you are finished with the push ups start with the second part. This exercise is done with the Kinetic Powerbands, that should already be attached to a vertical pole. Grab the handles, facing away from the pole. Slightly lean forward and begin opening the arms to the sides and then squeezing them together in front of the body, staying straight at the elbows. You should be more focused on controling your body than speed. You should also complete as much reps as you can like in the first exercise.
Do three sets of these two exercises and rest for a full minute during each set.
