The muscles in our legs are one of the largest and strongest muscles in our body. When the hip flexors, quads, glutes, and hamstrings work together, they have the ability to generate more force and burn far more energy than the muscles of the back, arms, shoulders, and even the core. Leg exercises, have the ability to drive the heart rate up faster than any other exercise and maintain that high speed for a long time. And strong legs form a base can help us generate strength, exert more force and accomplish more work with almost all of our muscle groups. With strong legs the rest of the body can gain strength faster and lose weight faster than it otherwise could.

Raise one leg off the flor and band your other leg, lower your center of gravity until the pressure of the move is fully concentrated in the hip, quad, and hamstring of the standing leg. Raise your leg and go back down 12 times. When you are done with one leg doit with the other one exactly the same. Fort he last part of this exercise place your feet slightly wider than the shoulder width and bend the knees. Jump straight up into air using your arms to control your motion and gain height. When you land stay in control and lower your legs to absorb the impact. Jump 12 times without stoping.
Complete four sets and take a break of 30 seconds between each set. This set of leg exercises may look simple, but if you give their full energy to each move, this workout can build strong legs, burn fat, and generate steady results.
